This workshop (poster with details below), taking place on Sunday, October 26th in Oscailt – 8, Pembroke Road, Dublin 4 – is designed to be a gentle unpacking of the reasons we don’t love ourselves, where those negative beliefs come from and examining whether or not they are ‘true’.
There will be art-based exercises a bit of reflection, some writing exercises, some guided meditation and some sharing. No one will be asked or expected to share more than they are comfortable and ready to.
There will be laughter, some tears, some ‘aha’ moments, lots of tea, plenty of love, support and camaraderie.
Come and join us!
Woman, Love Thyself – a workshop for women who need to learn to love themselves.
Every self-help book you’ve ever read, every self-development course you’ve ever undertaken, every self-realisation workshop you’ve ever attended has told you that, in order to love anyone else, in order to live effectively, in order to reach your potential, you first need to love yourself.
Which is grand. But none of them tells you how.
Come and join Hazel Katherine Larkin for a day of exploration – we’ll explore why don’t love yourself, why you should and how, even if it’s hard at first, it’s the only way to find your joy.
Hazel survived a childhood of daily abuse, two marriages to abusive and violent men and several other abusive relationships before finally deciding she needed to learn to love herself. Well, it was either that or kill herself. So she started a journey to learn the hardest lesson she’s ever learnt – how to love herself. Now, she’s excited to share her findings with you. The workshop is limited to 20 participants, so early booking is advised.
When: Sunday, October 26th, 2014 – 10.00am until 4.00pm
